How To Enable Automatic Login In Mac OS X Lion

In this tutorial we will help you enable automatic login under Mac OS X Lion. This will help you avoid the hassle of submitting your login password manually at the login screen. But doing this will allow other unauthorized users to use your computer, so be careful.

Getting Started

1. Click System Preferences.

2. Open Security & Privacy.

3. Under the General tab, click the lock icon and submit your password to be able to modify locked options.

4. Uncheck now the "Disable automatic login" option and submit your password again.

Click again the lock icon to prevent further modifications.

Your computer will start automatically, no login screen will show up.

That's it!
